About
I am a Project Manager with a Master of Project Management and PMP certification, passionate about driving team and company growth across APAC through system implementation, data management, and education. I thrive in diverse teams, using my expertise in change management, stakeholder engagement, and technology integration to empower others to succeed. With a background in education and learning theory, I have a knack for understanding how people learn and creating environments where they feel empowered to thrive.

In my roles, I have led projects ranging from day-to-day operational improvements to large-scale investments valued at over $1.2 million. As part of these projects, I managed national training initiatives for more than 70,000 users and spearheaded data-driven strategies to enhance decision-making and drive results. My work across APAC has included system rollouts, curriculum development, training program development, and managing high-impact areas such as Workplace Health & Safety and Psychosocial Risk & Mental Health.

I had the privilege of studying for my Master of Project Management at the University of Sydney after being awarded a Women in Engineering scholarship. I undertook my studies full time while simultaneously working full time.

In my spare time I’m a marathon runner and enjoy running destination marathons. A few memorable races include the Paris Marathon, 3-country Marathon through Germany, Austria and Switzerland and the Honolulu marathon (see camera icon to the right).
I look forward to partnering with you.

NEEDS ANALYSIS
Locate the root cause of the performance gap and compare what is expected to what is actually achieve. The goal is to understand the learner (job experiences, motivation, aptitude, learning style, etc.).
This could be achieved through:
-
A survey
-
A walk through of current processes
-
Review of previous training efforts
-
Review of sales records and customer feedback forums
-
An interview
-
Facilitate focus groups
-
Group brainstorming
-
Observations

DEVELOP PROJECT CHARTER
It is necessary to provide structure to the project plan, justify the project, document the need being addressed and the purposed result of the project.
This should include Input from stakeholders.

IDENTIFY STAKEHOLDERS
Stakeholders may include the project sponsor, senior management, practitioners or
groups of people with specialised knowledge or skills in a particular area.
Stakeholder interests should be considered throughout the project.

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN DOCUMENT
This outlines an overview of the product and product content which enables stakeholders to validate the program’s objectives, architecture, content and concepts before development. The document can also identify learning strategies based on adult learning principles (andragogy).

PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLAN
Components include:
-
Project Scope Statement
-
Cost and Budget
-
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
(which consists of subsidiary plans that detail how specific
areas of the project will be managed. It also documents cost,
time, quality, risk, and resources to complete the project.) -
Schedule Management
-
Issues Management
-
Change Management
-
Quality Management

Communications Plan

COMMUNICATION BARRIERS
Sensibility to communication barriers when formulating learning resources ensures awareness of the user experience. Communication barriers to be aware of may include:
• Perceptions (How individuals make sense of information)
• Beliefs (True/false or probable/improbable)
• Attitudes (Positive/negative responses)
• Values (Good/bad or preferred/rejected)
• Noise (Internal/external disruption to the communication process)

PREVIEW INSTRUCTIONAL PRODUCT
A pilot test and the feedback/observations collected offer insight into final adjustments that should be made before implementing the solution.

DELIVER INSTRUCTIONAL PRODUCT
Pre-course communication may be as impactful as the developed
instructional product to ensure participant engagement.
VALIDATE INSTRUCTIONAL PRODUCT
It is important to ask the following questions:

• Content: Was learning content relevant to the tasks to be performed?
• Process: Did the presentation method help the learner learn the content?
• Materials Were the manuals, job aids, etc., adequate, useful and
applicable?

DELIVER INSTRUCTIONAL PRODUCT
Pre-course communication may be as impactful as the developed
instructional product to ensure participant engagement.

KIRKPATRICKS
The process of assessing the levels of learning. This incorporates both quantitative (measurable gathered from scales and tests) and qualitative (holistic understanding gathered from discussions and interviews).
-
Level 1 Reaction (how did the learners feel about the opportunity) Formative
-
Level 2 Learning (did the learners achieve target assessment scores?) Post-test/Summative Assessment
-
Level 3 Behavioural Change (application/implementation) Summative Assessment project
-
Level 4 Business Impact (is there a reduced skills gap or increased employee proficiency?)
-
Level 5 Organisational Impact Performance (cost benefits calculation)

FINAL REPORT
Creating a formal report of learning evaluations is not only important for key stakeholders but for future learning engagements and to formulate a deeper understanding of business growth and company health.

COMMUNICATION ELEMENTS
Incorporating communication elements when formulating learning resources ensures awareness of the user experience. Awareness of communication elements can ensure the learning experience:
• Creates a positive environment

• Is credibile
• Is responsive to the user
• Demonstrates awareness of verbal and nonverbal communication
• Provide response to feedback
